Whiskey on the Mississippi 2022!
Join us Saturday July 16th for an Epic Whiskey Cruise on the Mighty Mississippi!
Nothing brings to mind the Golden Years of St. Louis like the image of the great Paddle Wheelers that once lined our riverfront. These riverboats also transported the whiskey we know and love down to New Orleans. The St. Louis Bourbon Society wants to bring back a little of that magic to our fair city for just one day!
The SLBS has teamed up with Gateway Arch Riverboats for an amazing experience Saturday, July 16th, 2022. Come with us as we create fellowship in the spirit and enjoy some Whiskey on the Mississippi aboard the Becky Thatcher Riverboat!
THIS EVENT IS VERY LIMITED AND WILL SELL OUT! NO LIMIT ON TICKET PURCHASE QUANTITY.
2 Sessions Available:
We will have two departure times to choose from. First boarding starts at 12:00pm, departure at 12:30pm, Second boarding starts at 2:30 departure at 3pm. Each cruise will last 1.5 hours and includes all samples, whiskey fellowship and live music by Miss Jubilee and the Yas Yas Boys. Cocktails and food will require a separate purchase.
The Paddlewheel Cafe and Bar on the dock opens at 11am. Live music starts at 1pm on the Paddlewheel stage. Arrive early and enjoy some great Paddlewheel food, drinks and music on the dock before your boarding. Food and drink are an additional purchase on the dock.

Where do I check-in?
On Site Check-In. The email you receive after purchase is your ticket confirmation and will contain all needed info. Check in table will be in front of the ticket window on the dock in front of the Becky Thatcher Riverboat
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes, this is a 21+ event.
When does the Riverboat board and leave?
Session 1: Boarding at 12:00pm, Cruise 12:30-2:00pm.
Session 2: Boarding at 2:30pm, Cruise 3:00-4:30pm
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Uber and Lyft are the best options, but parking on-site is available for $10 cash only. Make sure to follow the specific driving directions listed below.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, but having your email confirmation pulled up on your phone at check-in will speed up the line.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes, if you can't make it, just let us know who will be filling your spot!
Does the Becky Thatcher Riverboat have Air Conditioning?
Yes, levels 1 & 2 are Air Conditioned, level 3 is the sun deck with amazing views of the river and skyline. Bring sunglasses!
Is there food available on site?

How do I get there?
PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR DIRECTIONS AND PARKING: The easiest way to get to Gateway Arch Riverboats is to search "The Mural Mile St Louis". This will get you down to the corner of Chouteau Ave & S Leonor K Sullivan. Once there make a left and proceed along S Leonor K Sullivan until you see the entrance to the ramp heading down to the riverboats on your right. Parking is $10 at the booth, CASH ONLY. Park on the cobblestones down by the riverboat docks. We suggest wearing no heel shoes as the cobblestones are uneven and on a slope. Please arrive early to verify you do not miss your departure time.
IF YOU SEARCH GATEWAY ARCH RIVERBOATS FOR DIRECTIONS YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO REACH THE RIVERBOAT DUE TO THE MAPS TRYING TO TAKE YOU ALONG THE RIVERFRONT WHICH IS GATED. THERE IS NO REFUND IF YOU DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE BOAT DEPARTURE.
